ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Invited Talks should be 45 minutes
Contributed Talks should be 25 minutes

A laptop and overhead projector/screen will be provided for talks.  It would make for a much smoother conference if delegates giving talks could email their presentation slides (MS powerpoint or pdf format) to jo.green@sheffield.ac.uk by Wednesday 27th June 2012 for them to be already uploaded onto the laptop in advance, ready for presentation. 

 

If you do not email your slides before 27th June, you must bring your file on a memory stick for uploading prior to the conference start, arriving for registration in plenty of time to do this.

 

 

POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Poster boards stand 6ft tall and 4ft wide (183x122cm) so posters should fit within these dimensions (suggest A0 size). 
Upon registration, you will be asked to leave your poster with the organisers and this will be allocated a display board and set up for you prior to the wine reception and poster session starting on the evening of Monday 2nd July.

Poster Spotlight Session:
There will be a poster spotlight session at the end of Day 1.  This will involve each poster presenter giving a 1 minute overview of their poster topic using just one presentation slide, using the laptop/overhead projector/screen provided.  Delegates are welcome to use the downloadable poster spotlight presentation template here.

Delegates presenting posters are requested to please email one presentation slide (MS powerpoint or pdf format) to jo.green@sheffield.ac.uk by Wednesday 27th June 2012 in order for upload onto the laptop in advance, ready for presentation on the first day of the conference. Title/Presenter Name slides will be produced by the organisers if the downloadable template is not used.

If more than one slide is submitted for your poster spotlight presentation (not including Title/Name slide), your slide will be returned and you will be requested to re-submit on one slide only.

 

If you do not email your slides before 27th June 2012, your poster will not have a slot available during the poster spotlight presentation.
